Samantha "Samm" Cooper, M. Ed., is an Interim Guidance Counselor within the Broward County School Board, College Professor, Technology Trainer, Video Editor, videographer, Published Author, Broadcast Journalist and free lance writer. She was born in Michigan and was raised in Florida. Ms. Cooper holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism, a graduate of MSU with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and graduated with a Masters Degree of Education in Instructional Technology from AIU.
Ms. Cooper holds 65 doctoral credits in Educational Leadership pending dissertation defense by 2012 and has 11 years of teaching experience. Ms. Cooper has had the opportunity to teach traditional students as well as those coming back to school to gain second careers. She is considered an expert in Instructional Technology and has on numerous occasions ‘taught the teachers’ in the area of online class design and innovative instructional techniques to better engage students.
Ms. Cooper has a high level of experience working within the academic, professional and instructional atmospheres. She is dependable, hard working, energetic and eager to work in an academic environment that encourages student interaction and research. Ms. Coopers’ teaching skills, experience working with students, designing and implementing relevant research and continuing to publish, make her a strong candidate at many institutions.
Ms. Cooper has taught Social Science, Student Success, Critical Thinking, and Educational Technology courses. She has three publications, ‘Scorpio’s Fire, I killed My Best Fiend and Red Flames and hosts an online Talk show titled ‘Words with Samm Cooper.’ Join Samm Cooper and Friends on the new "Words with Samm Cooper” talk show and online forum that offers a free platform for artist to showcase their craft via artist interviews and features a blog where anything from life enhancement tips to newsworthy items such as healthy living topics and exciting guests with fresh perspectives share their experience.
